Glen Martin, MD, North Florida USAP Bio

Dr. Glen Martin graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1990. 

Dr. Martin interned in the Internal Medicine department at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital from 1990 to 1991.  He completed his residency at the University of Kansas Medical center in 1997, followed by a fellowship in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Anesthesiology at The University of Alabama in Birmingham from 1997 to 1998. 

Dr. Martin began his medical career in 1998 at the Memorial Hospital of Jacksonville.  He joined JACI/USAP in 2005 at BMC Beaches, where he continues to work today. 

Dr. Martin served in the military in the early 1990s.  He was a Medical Officer in the Department of Military Medicine in 1991, worked in Naval Submarine Medicine and Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine Training in 1992, and served as an Undersea Medical Officer from 1992 to 1994. 

Dr. Martin received multiple awards, recognitions, and a scholarship throughout his experience in the military, medical school, and postgraduate education. 

He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologist and Florida Society of Anesthesiologists.
