About Me
I am a full-time anesthesiologist who has been living and working in the Seattle area since the mid-90s. The entirety of my career has been spent in the Swedish Medical System, a major tertiary care center in Washington State. My practice is general anesthesiology and perioperative care, attending to patients from adolescence to those of advanced age. I enjoy the acute care setting of the operating room where I can have a direct, positive impact on patient’s health and surgical outcomes. In my practice, my goal is to provide state of the art anesthesia care in a compassionate manner. When I am not taking care of patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three sons. We are passionate skiers, and love being on the water during the summer months. I am an avid musician, having played in a cover band for ten years. I stay healthy by walking as many miles as I can.

Areas of Clinical Interests
My clinical interests are broad. This includes the provision of anesthesia care for orthopedic, gastrointestinal, ENT, urologic, and gynecologic surgeries, as well as caring for patients during labor and delivery. As a member of USAP-WA’s thoracic team, I have enhanced interest in cases involving lung, mediastinal, and esophageal surgeries. I am currently the anesthesiology liaison to the gastrointestinal endoscopy department.
