Scott Meril, M.D.

Scott Meril, MD, is a member of the Clinical Governance Board. He is the current Chief of Staff, the Patient Safety Champion and serves on the Board of Directors at Baylor Hospital in Garland. Dr. Meril serves on the Baylor Surgery Council, is a Baylor Physician Champion and a member of the Baylor Quality Alliance Anesthesia Subcommittee. He has served on the quality committee at both the hospital and group level for several years. Dr. Meril is a graduate of Texas A&M University. He obtained his medical degree from Southwestern Medical School. His internship and residency training was at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
