James Guo, M.D.

James Guo, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist. Dr. Guo has served on the Clinical Governance Board since 2013. He is the current president of the Memorial Hermann Pillar in Houston.

Dr. Guo is the Chairman of the Credentials Committee at Memorial Hermann at the Woodlands and a member of the hospital’s Medical Executive Committee. In the past he served as Chief of Anesthesia and Chief of Staff at Memorial Hermann at the Woodlands.

He has served as a director, delegate and an alternate delegate to the Texas Society of Anesthesiologists and is a delegate to the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Guo received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School San Antonio.
