Nathan Shapiro-Shellaby, Platform Chief CRNA Colorado & Kansas
Nathan Shapiro-Shellaby, CRNA, is the Platform Chief for USAP's Colorado and Kansas regions. With a passion for collaboration and leadership, Nathan has held other notable positions within USAP, including Site Lead and Student Ambassador. His contributions extend beyond leadership roles, actively serving on various committees such as the Culture Committee, Quality Committee, and the National Care Team Advisory Committee, among others. His involvement in these groups showcases his dedication to improving both the culture and operational efficiency within USAP.
Nathan was drawn to a career in anesthesia due to his love for algorithms and his interest in a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. For him, one of the most rewarding aspects of healthcare is the opportunity to provide comfort and support to patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. Nathan’s leadership style is rooted in collaboration, always seeking diverse perspectives to find common ground for the benefit of the team. As a member of the NCAC, Nathan aims to advocate for both clinicians and the business, striving for meaningful change while ensuring transparent communication and unity across USAP's geographically diverse practices.
