About Me
I'm Justin Johal, a Seattle native with a deep-rooted passion for the medical field and a compelling reason for specializing in anesthesiology. As a child, I encountered a significant life event when my father passed away, leading me to associate hospitals with the concept of mortality. This connection lingered until I required surgery a few years later, a process that filled me with apprehension. However, it was during this time at Swedish Medical Center that an anesthesiologist skillfully eased my fears, establishing trust and rapport in a remarkably short span. Witnessing the mastery of this skill left a lasting impression on me, and I recognized the profound impact that anesthesiologists have on patients' experiences. Combined with my fascination for physiology and pharmacology, this experience and admiration led me to pursue a career as an anesthesiologist, driven by a desire to provide compassionate care and alleviate anxieties for those undergoing medical procedures.

Personal Interests
Beyond my professional endeavors, my personal interests are a tapestry of diverse passions. I thrive on outdoor adventures, relishing the thrill of skiing down slopes and traversing hiking trails. Camping allows me to disconnect and immerse myself in nature's serenity. Sports like basketball, pickleball, and tennis fuel my competitive spirit, complemented by regular runs and gym sessions to maintain my fitness. Culinary exploration beckons me to savor new flavors, reflecting my curiosity about different cultures. Seattle's sports scene has my heart, and I proudly support teams like the Mariners, Seahawks, and Krakens, united by a sense of camaraderie and fandom.
