I grew up in St. George, Utah, moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for medical school, and kept moving east for residency in Baltimore, Maryland. I chose to specialize in anesthesiology because I'm fascinated by pharmacology and because I love getting to help a person through a stressful event in their life.
