About Me
Seattle became my home after college, so I was eager to return here for my anesthesiology residency at the University of Washington. I am grateful to have a profession where I genuinely enjoy what I do. I believe anesthesiologists are in a unique position to care of patients at a very stressful point in their lives - when they need to get surgery. I am proud to be part of a practice that takes care of such a diverse range of patients, from mothers having their first child to fathers suffering from a stroke. It reminds me every day that what we do has an impact on others' lives and challenges me to continue practicing at a high clinical level.

Personal Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking (especially BBQing), making others laugh, practicing yoga, and as a true Pacific Northwesterner, spending time in nature in many forms (hiking, biking, skiing, camping).
